How to use a dog pad:
To get started, unfold the pad and place it with the plastic side facing down, in a designated area away from your dog's bed and food.
Introduce your dog to the pad by placing them on it a few times, allowing them to smell and become familiar with it.
When your dog uses the pad for elimination, use a consistent phrase like "go potty" so they associate the command with the action.
As soon as your dog successfully uses the pad, reward them with praise and a treat to reinforce the positive behavior.
If there's an accident, guide your dog back to the pad right away. Consistently redirect them to the pad to reinforce its purpose.
Dispose of used pads and replace as necessary for a clean environment.
To complete the house training process, gradually move the pad closer to the door and eventually transition to outdoor elimination.
